My name is Rick Astley and I am dishonored that my video that I made in 1987 is being used for fooling millions of people in a disheartening way. I ask that my fans here on this site please go out and write letters to Youtube.com to please take my video off the site. I am embarrased and my rights to my video ended in 1998 so i ask my fans to please help me take my video off of Youtube.com. I am a videogame fan and hope to help produce a new game coming out in the next couple years.

If we can start now I am positive this whole "Rick Roll" thing will go away and I will be able to walk outside without somebody pointing and laughing at me and my family.
