ok, now that is out of the way...

I wasnt really interested when Command and Conquer 3 was coming out at first, but since a few of my friends were going to get it i decided to give it a try. three weeks later, I beat every mission on hard save for 8 of them in the first try. Hard wasnt hard at all, just drawn out and tedious. only a few missions made me pull out my hair in frustration of the sudden impossible odds made it impossible to beat on first and second and third try. i eventually went back to a few of them and claimed the gold metal and all honors. but it really didnt matter, there was no special reward for completing all the missions on hard. and the Scrin bonus missions were few in numbers leaving one feeling something more to be desired. on the multiplayer part... an easy or even medium computer is cakewalk, hardly a match. but you get hard and brutal, and those are impossible. balanced is not. So with feelings of being cheated out of what could have been the greatest game to date, I took my copy and shelved it to gather dust for eternity.

Today, i decided after letting the Tiberium Troopers tournament slip by i would give it a try since this latest patch was supose to really balance the game. So after patching and fighting with my firewall to let it connect to the on line world, I try out the 1vs1 ladder. since i hadnt played in a while, i knew going into my first match that i would lose. I play GDI in all my matches, so first one is vs. Scrin. I was really slow in getting my economy going and getting my units out... so when i finally attacked my opponent, they were waiting with a few walkers and an air armada... needless to say that i was toast shortly after. second match happened to be with the same person. so this time, i stripped mined the patches that were next to me and rushed. under 10 min match that i won. third was vs. Nod. I was beaten to most of the patches early game, but he just amassed his forces in a wall. so it ended up being a super weapon match, which we exchanged blows, they sent in the vertigo bombers, to which i was extremely lucky my mammoth tank column was where it was cause i detected it and took it out just before they would drop thier bombs. so i use the ion cannon to punch a hole in his anti air defense and use that special ability for the firehawks to instantly travel across the map and destroy his temple. shortly after, my wall of mammoth tanks come rolling in and it was all downhill from there for the second win.

I thinks that now the game is better balanced and actually tried the on line ladder, I will enjoy this game more.
