[QUOTE="PenthiusX"]Boot the NO display Os with ur integrated card - Remove all display drivers for that card - reinstall card - and run or try using safe mode with the Gf card installed and detected , then re enable it...

I only have the integrated card and I can't see anything when it boots. [QUOTE="PenthiusX"]Ok when if the Comp hangs as it loads the kernel lib files then Ur pretty much using a faulty Os ..either it ain't updated or ur Os may have been damaged due to a worm .. I once encountered one tht tamped with one of the dlls being loaded during Safe mode boot - it was some kind of protection iit has so that the user couldn't manually quarantine it . Though later boot time scans got introduced . (This was along time ago). U better try the other method i guessed or just re install windows -- just overwrite it without formatting ( if u don't wanna format that is).

Is there anyway I can fix it by going into the working os and changing the settings on the other one? Or if I got a new graphics card and put it in would I be able to see then? Or would it have to be installed with drivers and stuff first?

I don't think he wants to lose all the files he has on that partition shadow, what he should do is enter that partition in safe mode and undo the changes

to do this = when you turn the pc on try to hit F8 button continuously Until you get the start up menu, then choose partition and then safe mode, wait a little while the drivers are loading then change the settings.

PS you will be able to see the screen because windows uses it's own drivers for safe mode

hrah
Thanks for this but I'm afraid that I have a problem with safe mode (or else I don't know how to use it properly), but when I try to start it in safe mode a big list comes up of drivers and just stays there? Any suggestions?

So I recently got a dell dimension e520 second hand, and I'm experiencing a couple of problems with it that I was wondering if you could help me with. It has a hard drive partition and 2 operating systems, one on each partition. At boot up I have to choose an operating syatem which are both exactly the same; windows xp media centre. I'm not too worried about this though. My main problem is that I changed the display settings on one of the os's (the one I'd been using mostly) and now whenever i start up this os the screen doesn't display. The settings I changed were,

Right click desktop, properties, settings, advadnced, adapter, properties, and then set device usage to; Do not use this device (disable).

I can start the other os and see it as Ididnt change the settings on that one, but I would prefer to use the other os as it is on the bigger hard drive partition. There was a video card with the computer but it wasnt working properly so I took it out and I am using the integrated one.

Any help would be appreciated on how to change back my settings if any of you guys know how to.

[QUOTE="rahul_batta"]It seems to soon because I'm pretty sure the development for games is higher. The sales already aren't earth shattering like previous generations, and with greater production time means less games, which means less general sales IMO. I just don't see it happening. If it does though I will not be moving to the next generation for a whileMarcRecon

Just because a new system comes out doesn't mean you have to get it right away.Sony has proven that they have strong support for their last-gen console.

If I was sony I wouldn't bring out a new console during a recession! And the price tag would probly be around £700 if they did bring it out, and these days people don't really have that mch money to spare. I wold be mighty pissed if they brought out a PS4 now seeing as I've only just bought my PS3 a month ago :P Its great by the way. :)
