mine are seagate barracuda 7200.10
but i'm sure other drives are fine too
and just so you know, my 60% number isn't just a made up number. i measured before and after with HD Tune
none and to all those that say vista works just fine - vista was inferior to XP in practically every way and was buggy from day one and 7 is much better than any system to come out YTD.Jdbuccvista is undoubtedly more stable than xp. i never have vista crash to the point i have to restart my pc. i can always get to task manager and close the program. in xp, crashes often left the computer unstable and needed to be restarted. i read an article about this but i forget where it is. but msft definitely recoded how this works and it's much better in vista for sure.
same here. i can get a legit, free windows 7 upgrade and i don't even know if i'm gonna use it (unless i get a SSD). i'm happy with vista and i'm not sure i'd even like the new windows 7 taskbar/start menu.Dont know when iam going to install it though as iam pretty happy with my Vista.

i preordered win7 for $50 and already sold it for over $100.
"same" is stretching it. i saw a test where they were both tested on 10 popular games, and the gtx 260 was the overall winner..... but yes it does cost a little more.[QUOTE="rock_solid"][QUOTE="MonsieurX"]4870 is cheaper than a GTX while having the same performanceMaoTheChimp
That test was on TomsHardware, and it was more than a "little bit" biased. One of the tests used (The Last Remnant) had incredibly poor ATI integration which led the GTX 260 to be "superior" to the 4870.
it's right here: http://www.guru3d.com/article/top-10-games-with-radeon-4870-1-gb--geforce-gtx-260-core-216-test/
