[QUOTE="rock_solid"]i wouldn't buy either of those computers. go to dell outlet. the outlet is where you can buy computers that people returned. there might be a small scratch somewhere on the case..but you can get a good computer for a very good price.UltimateGamer95
Upgradeablility will be a problem though :lol:

i totally disagree. if you get a mid to high end pc from the outlet you can upgrade it plenty.

i myself got a Q6600 from the outlet almost 2 years ago. i've overclocked it to 3ghz.

it came with 3gb of ram, i upgraded it to 6gb...and i could go to 8gb.

it came with a 8800 GT and i upgraded it to a GTX 260...and i'll upgrade the video card again in a year

it came with 2 hard drives with raid..and i could add more hard drives

i disabled the onboard audio and added a sound card

i upgraded the power supply from 375w to 630w.

this computer is the best bang for the buck i've ever had.

actually i'm someone who says vista is totally fine. and i've used both xp and vista. vista had driver support problems when it first came out...which gave it a bad name. and lame apple commercials attacked vista. the mojave experiment says it all. vista is really not bad. people have just been manipulated into thinking it's bad. windows 7 is a renamed vista. it's renamed so people who refused to buy vista, have a way of buying it while still boycotting vista. these people were outsmarted by microsoft. now before some people say windows 7 is not a renamed vista, yea i know there are some changes to it. but it really is a tweaked vista. if you like windows 7, then you never should have hated vista in the first place (apart from early driver problems). and if UAC bothers you, it can be disabled, noobs.

Windows 7 has a completely new kernalstele29
it's not completely new. stop overhyping windows 7. it was rewritten for vista. windows 7 just has some modifications to it.

i had a 8800 GT and recently upgraded to a GTX 260 core 216 ocx maxcore. i also considered the 4870. i plan on keeping the GTX 260 for 12-18 months. then i'll buy a good bang for the buck DX11 card.

[QUOTE="Ownsin"][QUOTE="JigglyWiggly_"][QUOTE="Ownsin"] Come again :S?

x86 > x64, x64>x86 is not possible.

Ah crap so you mean if im 32 bit, i cant upgrade to 64bit :S?

that is correct. unfortunately you'll need to do a clean install of 64 bit vista or win7. i recently went from vista 32 bit to 64 bit and had to reinstall all my programs. took me days. :) i recommend taking screenshots of your settings n stuff. makes it easier to get things back to how you had it.
