Well, first one of the hidden endings from the first game revealed a phone number. If you call that number, you get a message from Kratos telling you that, unknown even to Zeus, Kratos found Ares' essence hidden inside his new palace, so he still exists. Also, this just occurred to me, but if Kratos pulled the Titans from their final war with the gods, then the Titans never could have been banished, and Cronus never had to wander the desert with the Temple of Pandora on his back. If so, this calls into question whether or not any of GoW 1 actually happened now, so it's possible there is a new timeline where Ares was never killed by Kratos.

Just been reading a few reviews been good scores but ive seen a fewmentioning that the story isn't up to the standard as the second one and i also read that the story doesn't pick up until near the end?
What do you think do you think that the reviewers were expecting far too much?
What do you think? do you think the story will be just as good as previous games?
I seen the uploads on there too but i havent botherd watching them. you actually spoil the game by watching them you might aswell wait another week too actually play thosescenes for yourself. i spoilt killzone 2 by watching too many vids.
http://www.playstationhouse.co.uk/index.php/home/index i was in the metro centre today (north east) and they were there it was pretty good actually. i played the god of war demo eye pet and heavy rain. i have to say heavy rain's graphics are unreal there amazing but the gameplay wont apeal to everyone. the controls were a bit strange. to move forward you used R2 and used the analog stick to move and the right analog stick to interact with objects. i also got given a sony goody bag :D haha. And you know the band girls aloud? well my girlfriend noticed but the sony guy that was talking to us was Kimberley Walsh's boyfriend so i asked him and it was. so i started talking to him then after a good 10mins...he really didnt know much like... i new more about the sony products than he did haha. but anyway id definatly recomend going if your near to one. they also give you a wrist band with a code on to enter online and you can win everything that was in the room so pretty funky like. http://images.google.co.uk/images?hl=en&um=1&q=justin%20girls%20aloud&ndsp=18&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi thats the lass from girls aloud ;)

no bother ;) looks amazing so far and if thats work in progress... the full game could be amazing. also really happy they didnt cancel this and the getaway
