No. SW Bets was NOT enjoyed by everyone and thats the point I made to begin with...

I would hazard to guess that SW bets was shut down because it became an overbloated distraction on the board. The members and in particular the "Crew' began acting as though they were the most important thing on this website. kc could have very easily made a UCB and all would be fine. not everyone enjoys System Wars but you dont just shut it down. People really dislike what system wars stands for and the idiocy that occurs here but its "legal," and some really enjoy it.

SW Bets went on for months. I think citing the ToS and gambling was just finding a reason to do what all the mods and admins wanted to do.
