I enjoyed the episode, but the ending does make me mad. I'm not as mad as the writer of this article, but they build up the night king as this ultimate evil character coming to destroy everything for 8 effing seasons, and they gave him one of the lamest death sequences ever.
The high sparrow and many other notable threats to Cersei get blown up in a huge explosion of dragon fire in the sept of baelor. How does the night king die? He gets shanked. He never fights, never really does anything. He has a cool smirk after surviving dragon fire and a great moment of raising the dead one last time around Jon. And that is about it.
And somehow he is surrounded by a legion of zombies and white walkers and Arya sneaks past all of them in the snow. She could barely get out of the library with a few zombies and then she just appears behind the night king? I was surprised to see her jump from behind, but I think she should have died.
Good show guys, really enjoyed it. I am one of those people who want a PS4 but have yet to get one. If the NEO comes out this year and it is the same price as the current models I will probably buy one. I've waited this long I guess I can wait a little longer. Looking forward to more announcements on it.
