I don't have a PC or a Console right now, I'm saving up for a PC, so Titanfall 2 will have to wait, every single other game aswell

it can be simply put as this: Some gaming companies are completely out of touch with that the customers want, and also believe they are foolish enough to be milked for all their money's worth

The gaming community as a whole is anything but ignorant, while it has it's share of hiccups and cases where a big number falls for the hype of an underwhelming product, they still end up wising up and those who dared fool the consumers end up paying for it dearly

What holds my interest in the indie scene is just how it oozes variety, while the AAA market plays it safe for the most part, it's the indies that take the most risks and usually they're the ones to set up the next big thing that AAA devs will pick up on, I have played my fair share of genres thanks to the indie scene, from first person horror, to platformer, to isometric rpgs, to hacking games, to strategy, to simulators, the list goes on and on...

One thing I do hate about indies is the pretentiousness, how there are developers that rather make "art" at the expense of everything, even gameplay, the biggest offenders being the chinese room, where most of what you do is just walk around while a piece of "story" plays out, no developer should take pride in games where gameplay takes the backseat to worthless "art"

p.d. an extra point for contrast, is that you can make a walking simulator but with a dinamic that turns the gameplay into you vs the game (ala stanley parable or pony island), you can make a game with artistic value and fantastic gameplay if you use the right dinamic, too bad not many devs do that

It used to be a standard for gaming to let you skip cutscenes at will... Now for some bizarre reason devs want to force you through their stupid stories...

Some games even had a feature where you could go back and watch every single cutscene, it was preety awesome

I think it's great how despite constantly proclaiming that PC exclusives are bad, console gamers are more than happy to embrace the third entry in a trilogy that started as a PC exclusive :)

Considering how little footage we've seen of the game, I'd say my interest hasn't been killed yet

By the way... Can't really take Kotaku as a serious gaming website, not when they contradict themselves like that, or even better, when preview events of games like Guitar Hero are turned into blogposts by the writer about how much he hated the event and is not interested in games like that at all (one of many reasons I don't go to Kotaku)

I usually avoid pre-ordering as a personal rule, but I do end up making exceptions...

Pre-ordered: Dungeon Defenders, Black Ops 2, The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, Amnesia: Machine for pigs

And that's about it, like I said, I go out of my way to avoid pre-ordering, lol

Let's see...

Game got pulled from steam, valve gave out refunds regardless of playtime, dev's little scam backfired big time, and ofc Huggles can't make a thread without crying

Looks like the status quo continues (with the improvement of the steam refund system of course)

It's like with Bayonetta 2, either gets made through the company's funding, or it's not getting made at all, makes sense because that's all the options capcom had

Like others have said though, I'm sure one of their tons of re-releases will make it to the xbone eventually

Well, got 397 games in my steam account, I can just go through my backlog while I wait, it's not like i'm starving for games or anything :)
