I just finished the game and still stand by what I said. The biggest problem with Halo 3 is that it is VERY uneven. Sometimes gameplay feels on par with the best shooters but most of the time it is very average. Same thing with graphics, one level (8 )almost looks as good as GOW while another (2) looks like Halo 1 in low res. Anyway Halo 3 reminded me of Half-Life 2 so now I'm looking to the Orange Box. I think Halo 3 deserves 7.5 out of 10, but I expect 10s from the reviewers because of the hype. Maybe I'm just not getting it. So I do not hate Halo any more, but third instalment did not make me want to try either halo 1 or 2 again.
