well, ive never played the GoW games but ive read about them, and before i start writing my reasons why dante would win i have to say that i dont believe in any god and that its just an excuse you use when u cant face something youve done.

First reason why kratos whould lose was that he just defeated the gods of olympus/underworld etc. but not the Protogenoi thats the "first born" deities in the universe and born from chaos (well chaos is also included in Protogenoi) in greek mythology and its said that all other gods descends from them, and to give an exemple on their powers i will use hypno who angered zeus thru an event so he was going to smite him into the sea, but hypno ran to his mother nyx and zeus gav up because he actually feared nyx anger.

Second reason is that kratos didnt fight Thanatos thats death itself, hades is only the jailor while thanatos is pure death. And dante litteraly tore death in half.

Third reason is connected to the first, chaos was first then the rest of the Protogenoi, im not so good at christianity, but its said to be one god and one alone, so in greek mythology it would be equal to Chaos, and lucifer could then be compared with Thanatos (death) or Nyx (Night) in power scale.

And the Forth and last is the number of people thats escaped hell and how many thats escaped tartarus and the underworld

Goku easily, and about him taking time to do anything, havent you ever watched the show, an battle might take like over an hour for us, but for them its like a couple of second minutes at most, they move so fast so that like 10-50min of showtime would be like 10 sec or an minute for goku and company if they would be in an fight.

And about blades and reach, any weapon is absolutely useless if yit cant hit the target and i dont think that kratos is fast enough to even hit goku, and even if he somehow manages to capture goku he can just teleport to someone and if he's really pissed off he could just fly up and turn to the ground and say his magical catchphrase Kamehameha and the planet and kratos would be space-dust
