Well today I had to drive my mom to work which I usually don't do. It's not too far out of my way from the route I take to get to my own job. The bad thing is it caused me to be heading for my job later than I would have liked. I was pretty nervous that I would end up being late I even called ahead of time to my boss to be on the safe side. Luckily I didn't hit any traffic and made it to work with five minutes to spare.

Also my friend at work who is having a party in July told me about the theme he wants to have for his party. He wants to go with a German theme and have people dress in lederhosen, right now I'm a bit hesitant about that. However what does get me excited is hearing about all the different german foods we could eat. There is bratwurst, sauerbraten, spaetzle, just to name a few.

I battled the Elite Four again and actually managed to defeat them. This was after going back to Victory Road and raising all my team members a few levels. The bad news is that I lost against the champion Cynthia. Her Garchomp owned me.

Additionally at work I was bored a bit today so I started thinking back on shows that used to be on TV. Anyone remember the show that used to be on Nick called The Secret World of Alex Mack. It was about a girl who develops superpowers after a chemical spill accident. She can turn into a liquid puddle and has telekinesis. Here's the opening.
