I don't know if anyone has played this game, but Fire Pro Wrestling Returns for Playstation 2 rocks! This game has been a hit in Japan for many years and has finally made it's way over to the US.

It's a great wrestling game where you actually have to use strategy to win and can't just utilize button mashing. When you play the matches you have to strategize by using weaker attacks first. If you try stronger attacks in the beginning you won't pull them off. You also have to work on a certain body part to help gain a pin.

Another great part of the game is how you can choose from over 300 different wrestlers. They may not be wrestlers familiar in WWE but you can customize your character and make it look like whoever you want. The great thing is you can customize aspects of your wrestler down to the little details. You can even customize many aspects of the ring down to the logo that appears.

This game also has a great variety of matches you can from just normal rules to barbed wire deathmatches and cage deathmatches. Additionally you can have fun as a promoter and book your own matches.

This is probably the best wrestling games I have ever played. I haven't played the WWE's popular game, but I prefer this one due to all the different things you can do.
