Now before you go OMG you were ripped off insanely. I live in Australia. Wii games go for $80-$100, 360 retails at around $650 and PS3 is a cool $1000. Anyone else in Aus will realise I actually shopped around alot and basically only ever buy things on sale. Now I haven't spent much at all on my Wii compared to my 360 but that's a whole other story...
As you can probably guess by the title, my 360 has just shown me the ring of death. Generally I would be really really annoyed as my 1 year warranty ran out 11 days ago. I'm really glad M$ realised there is a serious problem with this and is offering us help rather than ripping us off (too much).
Luckily I just recently bought a Wii and have been very involved with Resident Evil 4, it provides a little comfort. The thing that has annoyed me most about this situation is I used to play my 360 every day and never a problembut since I got my Wii I play it once a week maybe and occasionally use it to watch DVD's and it then decides to play up. Hmmm maybe it's my 360's way of getting back at me for shunning it recently.
I live in Australia and was wondering how the whole servicing this is here? I mean is it generally reliable and hassle free and is there a good chance I will getmy 360back sooner rather than later? If anyone else in Aus has input on this I'd appreciate it. Thanks
Definately get one. I have been a 360 owner for about a year now and i was skeptical of the Wii but I decided to give it a shot and it is definately worth it. It's a great change from the hardcore gamers and shooters. I found I am actually enjoying games rather then seeing them as a chore. Due to achievements and such I find I play 360 games when I don't even want to.
In conclusion you won't regret it. BTW Zelda is awesome.
Wow thanks for the link it does seem alot better. Yea I'm gonna have to pick a cable up now. Thanks for your comments.
