Fans: animation and what isn't working. (Part 5) (Ok, I was wrong, only five parts. so rant me, :) ) Fans! The last word in any shows history! Let's face it when it comes to animation we maybe the only things that are working, but of course I have to be fair. So the last part of my 5 part rant on animation ends where all the shows do. ( I will be bias for the sake of being bias though). Fans, we must purchase the items and DvD's from the shows we love, we must watch the shows we love, We must fight for the shows we love!... but... Let's do it right! Let's face it when the show you love is facing the terrible idea of cancelation we feel terrible! We try all sorts of weird things in order to save it, but what we do wrong is that we don't plan these things out. So right here, Right now, I'll give you the list every fan should know: The How To save your favorite show list. 1. Get together! Gather the masses first, nothing you do will be worth it unless you have masses, get your huddled masses, or unrulyly mobs, heck even get your peanut gallaries! announce what you plan to do on fan sites, message boards and other places where fans gather (not just the ones you own but others), and get them to communicate with you and each other. The more the better, Newbies and experianced viewers alike. Gather the fans. 2. schedule your protest! There are many ways to protest, but first organize it! plan the days or weeks or months in which you are planning your attacks...err...protest. and have all your memebers do it, at once! 3. Gather more! even if you get a responce ( which you may not) gather more people stretch your reach as far as you can. Gather more. inform more! plan more! 4. Mass protest. Do step four again. this time do a "louder" way of protest, did signing a petition not work, then send emails, if they didn't work send written letters, or have each member send a penny or something from the show. Get louder and louder. 5. Never give up....until there is no one left. I'll admit nothing like a good battle but you got to know when the wars over. if very few are left, move on. there are other battles to be fought, other shows are in danger and one more voice could do the trick, but always fight, you'll never know when you might win. Fans.... take it from me if you start too late, you lose the war, At the first sign of trouble start this. and for a bonus, last and but not least.... a list of ways to protest a cancelation: 1.petition 2. emails 3. hand written letters 4. sending in objects that simbolise show 5. buy up all merchandice 6. boycott 7. rant!
