Any way to do it on the xbox!?

Want to test my X41's

So, xmas is coming up and i was thinking of asking for some 5.1 headphones. I would want to use them with my TV, PS3, X360 and Laptop.

Preferably wireless and needs to plug into a 3.5mm headphone jack (of the laptop - only 2 channels for this obv) phono of the TV (again, 2 channels) hdmi (5.1 channels) from the 360/PS3 (can also use the standard connectors if you cant use the hdmi somehow).

Any around?

They arnt even being recognised by the PS3 in either USB slots on the front. Doesn't show up anywhere in the whole system. Selecting system update via external media tells me that nothing is found. Trying to install a theme tells me to 'insert external media' or something of the sort...

When i plug them in a little icon appears in the top right hand corner of the screen suggesting they are being accessed?

Ok, so, i just bought myself a PS3 Slim.

Im trying to update the the system to the 3.00 firmware and also install a theme.

I formatted my USB stick to FAT32

Created a folder called 'PS3'

then created a sub folder names 'UPDATE' (all in caps like the instructions)

Placed my update file in the folder and..... nothing, the PS3 wont recognise it atall.

Same goes for the themes when i put them in the 'THEME' sub folder.

Surely a faulty USB stick? No. Iv used 4 USB sticks, all formatted etc and folders created.

Faulty PS3? Someone help please? =)

makes sense. the wii figures and 360 figures were sooooo close with ps3 miles behind. i thought something was wrong.

are those figures around accurate?

i had no idea the 360 was catching up on the wii.

also... almost double number of 360's sold compared to ps3? 

takes me around 10 mins to connect to a match usually... wayyyyyy too long. needs fixing asap. and before anyone comments. i have a 20mb cable connection, the fastest you can get in the UK (commercially). 

cant comment on the shotty as i never really played gears 1 online.

what people dont understand is that EPIC did the whole invincibility chainsaw rev thing on purpose simply because they added in the feature of the chainsaw duel and wanted people to be using that during MP. only thing is they should put it back to how it was with that. normal gun should provide NO stopping power but give 1.25 damage. shotty should stop the chainsaw revver in their tracks and force them to drop it down and give normal damage.
