Sadly, I do agree with this it seems most folks like to jump in and start blowing things away then thinking / planning about the approach first. I've always liked the SC / Ghost Recon series because of the planning aspect since it seems to me more realistic. I agree that if SC - Blacklist contains elements that also make it appealing to the itchy trigger finger folks then the game should do well.
Usually I agree with Chris’s reviews but on this one he is totally and completely wrong. Between the strategic sync shots, to the game dynamics, up to the firefights I think this is the best Ghost ever. Deserves at least an 8.5. Also, what the hell does Chris mean that there are AI oddities and “unremarkable firefights”? At times you get caught in ambushes where you have to relax and pinpoint the fire or you get killed quickly. I think the story line is pretty good too. Loved both Ghost 1 and 2 but I think so far that this one tops them all.
who the hell cares what these dumba$$ pro gamers want in BO2. BO2 needs to have some more historical and realistic scenarios to make it feel like real spec ops missions, something these so called "pro gamers" know nothing about. BO2 developers shoudl keep this in mind and actually try to do a little research on what it means to be a spec ops operator and build that into the game!
