If they don't rush it like 3 I'm sure it'll be just fine. Kinda disappointed it's running on frostbite3 i mean it looks good but I want to see something new and better...

@yokofox33: Aw man I just say it uploaded on YT, thought it was the only word on it. Oh well, yeah can't wait you think it's gonna be $60 or will the last gen games' prices drop to 40 or so?
Release - 2015
Console - Playstation 3
Nice to see my PS3 will be getting more life in the years to come. I was hoping it'd be release mid to late 2014 but oh well.
If gameplay was hella fun, sure. But if everyone was honest with themselves they'd take good graphics over bad or subpar anyday. It's called aesthetics, and that's something every human being fancies.
Hello,
I am looking for an action adventure game to buy. I have a PC and a PS3. Here is what I like:
What I like best is exploring mysterious/gloomy places and finding secret doors, treasure and things like this. Nicely worked atmosphere and immersion are very important. All this has to be embedded in a good story, that gives some purpose to the actions i take. Open direct combat is acceptable, but its not my thing and the main focus of the game must not be combat. I like action to be in other forms, like stealth or moving though difficult terrain or platforms. I also dont like much role playing games with complicated skill level trees.
Examples of games that I love:
Assassins creed II and Dishonored
Other (very good) games I dont like much:
Diablo, Dark Souls (too focused in combat. With Dark Souls could be wrong, but I tried the game a bit and read the reviews and it seems completely oriented to combat)
Assassins creed IV (I stopped playing after a couple of days because I saw no plot in the story and I read that later it is heavily sealing oriented)
Do you have any suggestion for me?
Thank you!
What came to mind when you wrote that was:
Far Cry 3 - Really fun FPS that takes place in an island full of dark mysteries, secrets, gloomy places etc.
The Uncharted series - matches your criteria PERFECTLY.
Red Dead Redemption also features a lot of creepy, gloomy places and you can hunt for treasures and other secrets. Lots of stuff to do.
The Last of Us - As gloomy and mysterious as it gets.
Limbo - Indie game, 2D, VERY gloomy and mysterious.
Shadow of the Colossus and ICO HD Collection
Good luck!
@marcheegsr: Ha! I know how you feel, I said the same thing to my friend who just picked up ME trilogy.
Thanks for the helpful replies everyone, I ordered the GOATee edition on Amazon. And now i play the waiting game.
@Shmiity: HEY I work 1 whole hour for $6 :P. Was thinking about getting GOTY which is $30.
someone's mad tho lol
Thanks guys and good point, I've had games I regretted buying and then I couldn't get enough of a month after. I heard NV was pretty lackluster compared to 3 somewhere, but I'll definitely check it out.
