This timing is so convenient for me. Isnt it crazy how SSBB comes out on the week that I have my March Break? So far its a great game, but ive only been playing for 15 mins, my bro has been playing since the early afternoon. Well enough with the thoughts I have some serious brawling to do :D.

Been a long time since my last blog post. Well, lets see I can finally play expert in guitar hero (albeit 80-90% in most songs lol). As well I got guitar hero 3 recently and im loving it. Also got Armored Core 4, DMC4, Gears of War, Dead rising, orange box, and a bunch more other games, now I have about as many games for my wii as my 360. I finally gave my 2 weeks notice at my job so i wont have to work 24-30 hr weeks anymore now I gotta find another job with less hours. Also I gotta go to night school now since I only took 5 gr 12 courses when you need 6 to get into university (ugh that only happens to me). On a sad note I injured my bad knee after playing in basketball class (how many schools offer a basketball class?) I twisted my knee while landing from a layup and i could barely walk, now it feels like my leg is gonna collapse whenever I walk. Well I guess thats an update of my life.

After many many many many many months of holding it off, I finally got my 360. My brother just brought it in and we were like kids all over again. We were like fully reading every label and stuff. We bought it at future shop and it came with marvel ultimate alliance, forza 2 and guitar hero 2. After like 20 mins on each game, I gotta say guitar hero 2 is the craziest one. I think i might call in sick tomorrow for school and work and probably pick up halo 3 (if im lucky). My little bro's friend is letting him borrow oblivion and gears and like 2 controllers tomorrow. I'd love to type more but I got some major catching up to do for my achievement points (by the way the first points we got were 5 points for "a long road ahead" in guitar hero a.k.a (i think) not even being able to complete the first song lol)

Ok, so as the title states, im getting kinda annoyed now. The thing thats really cheesing me off is the way that players review new games. I swear, the first ten reviews of a game I see are not credible at all. Its all a bunch of guys (and i have a bunch of other words instead of guys but lets leave that to another site) who only played the game for like 30 mins and havent even gotten past the tutorials and are already giving it a 10.Honestly, is it so hard for people to split their reviews into properly written paragraphs that actually have something to do with what they are reviewing. Like a review of a game should not include "go buy the game now because im tired of typing lol" :evil: How does THAT justify buying a game? I swear the first ten reviews of MP3 which i read ( and no it wasnt the actual first ten player reviews and i cant say when because people will come back at me with pitchforks) were completely meaningless because the people who reviewed it hadnt even gotten to the first main battle. I swear how am I supposed to see how an average player feels about a game from each aspect when these people keep on flooding the reviews. However, im not saying that players dont write good reviews ( the good ones know who they are), im just saying most of them are lazy and shouldnt be allowed to post at all.

On a happier note I bought MP3 yesterday and 2000 wii points. The game started off fairly well for me but if its gonna be like the second game again....lets just say i didnt have a pleasant time (neither did the wall lol) Well ill have to wait and see. I bought fzero x and paper mario with the points. I never beat paper mario when I rented it all those years back on my N64 so nows my chance to redeem myself. Im going for all 3, I already beat the thousand year door, and im currently playing super paper mario right now.

To start off, this summer was actually pretty decent. It seems to me that the older you get, the less you value summer, but thats just me. Anyhow I just got back from Ohio two days ago from my little cousins birthday party and I did some back to school shopping while I was in the U.S. I could not believe how cheap this stuff is. Seriously jeans that I bought in Toronto for $125 I saw in Columbus for $40. I almost exploded but calmed down and did some serious shopping. I got like 5 pair of jeans, and like 15 shirts and 2 pairs of shoes :D. Overall I'd have to say I like coming back to Canada though, becuse everything is proportianate (is that how you spell it). Like we dont have a dollar menu at McDonalds and I think thats a good thing. I ate like 6 McChickens in one sitting just because I could, because over here I usually spend $6 on dinner and that only gets me 1 McChicken Combo. I think in the 5 days I was there I gained like 10 lbs lol.I recently bought super Mario Strikers out of impulse and would have to say that its a pretty good game except that you should never play online before you do the tutorial :P I was demolished both games out of 3. My brother got a Zune which is prety cool, now he can stop using my Ipod :D. Also got my report card back (because they mailed it to my other bro a month ago and he didnt bother checking the mail for that long :evil:) and my lowest mark was an 83% in Bio and highest was a 95% in english (math was up there too though at 94%) This also reminds me that school is starting in 2 weeks so I have to start changing my sleeping pattern soon. Im used to waking up in the afternoon, now I gotta wake up when I usually fall asleep :lol:. Finally Im actually trying to save up for my xbox 360 which ive been wanting to get but never actually got around to getting. By my birthday (september 28th) I should have one and thats hoping I dont blow off all my money (again lol).

Does anyone else think that its kinda spooky that 7/7/7 (which also happened on a saturday the 7th day of the calender week) which is supposed to be lucky is followed shortly after by a friday the 13th?This is one of those times that i think somebody is playing around with my head.

Whatever.

On to a new topic, my game collection for this gen is growing much faster than last gen. Ive had my wii for 3 months and have 9 games (thats including wii sports). Thats pretty fast for me considering with my gamecube i only had like 3 games after 3 months. Also i have a bunch of DS games. I think its just because I got my job.

Now that I mention my job, im starting to hate it. My boss is giving me so many hours and much more responsibility than other people there but no extra pay. It not fair for me. My bro started at the same time as me but even hes not working as hard as I am. But I need the money so there nothing I can do about it.

 

Well, like the title, it took me long enough. I think I set the record for the longest time to get past level 20, like 7 months lol :p.

 

Well in other news, pokemon D is coming out in a few days and I cant wait.  Also, mid terms are coming up for my school so im gonna get my marks and im kinda excited for that. Cant wait until next Friday either, because thats pay day and im gonna be picking up another game with pokemon D so I gotta think about which one thats gonna be.

Well, I just recently picked up 3 DS games and i love them all. Custom Robo Arena, Star Fox Command and Elite Beat Agents are the three games that I got. Starting with Custom Robo, I loved the game on the cube and I decided that the DS game would be worth while. Initially I thought the graphics were GBA level until I got into a battle and realized thats where they hid it. The game plays great and I love customizing my robo. Also they have this thing where you can pose the robo which I thought was kinda neat. Next is Star Fox Command. This game is great too. I like the strategy part to it but it does kinda make me mad at times. The turn thingy pisses me off when I forget to move one of the pilots. The dog fights are fun but they are also kinda lacking in the difficulty department, like I can breeze through the fights in less than 15 secs sometimes.EBA is the one game that I expected the least out of but got the most out of. At first I hated the game. The first time i played it was at EB games and I thought that it sucked. My brother told me to give it a chance again last week and I said ok. So after i picked it up and played through a few songs I realised how fun it can actually be. Now im the difficulty with chieftain, so i think it would be like hard mode or something (breezin=easy, cruisin= normal so im just assuming the next one is hard.) Now im stuck between the games because I dont know which one to play.

OK well i'm glad that im back at gamespot now since i've been inactive for quite some time. I'm gonna try posting a lot more on other peoples blogs. I just recently got my internet reconnected since the stupid company took so long to give it to us. I recently got my first semester report card and im happy with the results.
Gym 84% 68% on exam (believe me it was hard)
Media Studies 85% 75% on exam (I underestimated this one)
Philosophy 90% 88% on exam (I came 1 hr late, but it was open book)
English 95% ? exam (I didnt bother checking)

I still havent been able to find a wii yet and my xbox360 dreams are fading away as my 360 fund hasnt gone anywhere in the last couple of months (im an impulse buyer, so i waste my money on worthless crap that seems good at the time).

My brother restarded my animal crossing file so im back at square one right now. I've been playin a bit and so far i've upgraded my house once and have taken out all the weeds in the town. I also have a new online Friend Code:

Wow, I havent done one of these in a while. Well firstly I think I should start off in school. Its almost exam time and that means two things, culminating projects and not studying (keyword not). Stupid schools give us these projects worth like 15% of our mark and they're so big and take a while to finish. No studying for me during exams because I've been in the classes where studying has been put down to a minimum. Gym exam will be all about like fitness and relationships (health) (stupid questions like "is hitting your partner healthy for a relationship or not?") Philosophy we get a cheat sheet, I was in the harder media class so we get to do a really easy exam. English is more about knowing the contents of a story than actually studying from a text.
Next I'll talk about christmas break. Mine sucked. I got a 256 mb mp3 player(ya I know...big whoop) $70, and LOZ:TP for gamecube. The present I get from my mom is still waiting. I think I gained around 10lbs during the break because there was nothing to do in my new neighbourhood. Also I was supposed to get a Wii but it was sold out and if I wanted a 360 my parents said that i'd have to chip in $150 for it :(.
Next is the weather. It may not sound important to many, but im getting kind of ticked off that Toronto doesnt have any snow this year and it is usually like 3-5 degrees outside. Canada is losing it's status as all icy and snowy :P. At least we still have maple syrup :P.
