I'm not sure what the problem at the root is to be honest. I find myself purchasing games that strike my interest at an alarmingly fast rate. I've always been a retail copy fanatic; I love purcahsing the physical editions of games simply because I love to collect them.

So I think that may be the cause; I'm a collector first and a gamer second. I started of as a gamer, but somewhere down the line the excitement of owning different games and expanding a collection somehow outgrew the passion for playing them and getting immersed in them.
