I always wanted to learn to play a guitar;something about the dedication and reward associated with mastering the instrument really intrigued me. So, I went ahead and purchased a dean vendetta xmt. Not sure whether it was the right one, but I hope it'd be enough to serve its role as a practice guitar atleast for a couple of years.

Provided my interest still remains, I'll probably switch over to a Gibson Les Paul.

So I'll receive the guitar this Wednesday and I'll be teaching myelf how to play it mainly through instructional videos on youtube or from booklets. I'm thinking of putting out a blog entry every day highlighting my experience with my guitar and hopefully see an upward trend.
