I picked up an ATI Radeon x1650 Pro a couple of days ago. According to the box it requires a minimum 350 watts. I thought I had a 350 watt supply but when I got home and opened up my computer's case to pop the card in I decided to double check. It's 300 watts. So I put the card in anyways. I have been playing Oblivion on medium high settings for a couple of days and have had no issues. In fact I haven't even heard the fan run (is this because the fan isn't running or because I just can't hear the fan). Is this going to be a problem? What will happen if the card isn't getting enough power? It's PCI express and 512mb in case that matters.
What exactly is the connection between 7 and 10? I would love to see a 7 remake though there are many other things that could be done within the franchise. I think Fantasy_Gamer's quote hit the nail on the head "make a new game rather than make what has been made already." Furthermore, I don't see what's wrong with "milking the cow" as long as it makes the fans happy and keeps the business alive and well.
It would be hard for me to imagine there not being a VII remake at some point. I think most FFVII fans would really like to see that. (please tell me if I'm wrong)
