I don't know if intimidated is the right word for me. If a game is uber difficult and I quit, it's because I've convinced myself I've either A: got better things to be doing. Or B: I feel that the game is "cheap" and i throw it out the window.

WoW.
Played for two months. Most of it was very boring.
I'm just calling it now. That's not Big Boss at all. It's in fact Meryl in face camo, who happens to also be pregnant with a cyborg ninja monkey. The monkey, although unborn is in fact the father of the soda drinking, chain-smoking monkey owned by Drebin.
Watch out Atomic, spoilers alert to those who haven't finished MGS4. I'm not one, but I'm just looking out for people. ; )
Btw. Do we know for sure that this is Big Boss on the site? I mean, it could be someone else who looks like Big Boss. It could be someone wearing face camo for all we know! The possibilities are endless!!!
GTAIV's mission structure is pretty uninspired. It doesn't take long to realize this. Drive here, kill that guy, drive there, get new mission to repeat the process. I think maybe the developers thought that throwing in dating, and various other outings with friends would spice things up. The problem with that line of thinking is how doing stuff with friends isn't much fun at all, and becomes a chore pretty quickly.
I did finish the storyline, but I think the only thing that kept me going (not including my own will to finish) was how even though the missions all boiled down to the same thing, within the huge environment i often had crazy things happen to me.
I can actually sit down with a couple friends and play a game series like Metal Gear Solid and have the spectators enjoying themselves just watching the game be played, and the storyline unfold. But GTAIV's story is very much "just there" to set up the next mission, and has very little to set it apart.
It's a great game, don't get me wrong. But I find that whenever I sit down to play, I just mess around for a bit, and then move on to something else.
Bioshock. This game has impressed me so much withits pre-release media, that I'll buy it regardless of reviews.
Metroid Prime 3. The first Prime is one of my favorite games, and the first person controls seem to be shaping up extremely well. Must buy.
Halo 3. I've played the others, and this is the last in the trilogy. Even if other games are impressing me much more than Halo 3, at this time, it's still a must play.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl. No explanation needed for this one, me thinks.

Maybe list: Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty 4, Phantom Hour Glass, Mass Effect.
I'm searching for a TV Tuner/Capture Card to take with me to school,so to avoid having tolug around a television with me. I'm using a laptop, so I need an external device, as opposed to installing something in my computer. I'm not even sure if adding a capture card is an available option, anyhow. I've looked at tigerdirect.com for some good deals, but I'm just not sure exactly what to be looking for.
I'll have cable tv available in the dorm I'm living in, but also want to hook up my Xbox 360 and Wii. So I'm looking for something that can do HD, if it's possible, for my 360. And Component for my Wii. Any and all help would be appreciated, as I'm pretty lost here. Thanks!
This is just bullcrap. Zombies are zombies, it doesn't matter what color they are. Maybe, since RE5 is obviously taking place in an African location, Capcom should just throw in some random Caucasian zombies to make everybody happy...because surely, that wouldn't sacrifice any sort of atmosphere they were attempting to achieve with this new setting.
