Lemmings need to be careful hyping Gears this time around. Before you call me a crazy fanboy, I also think cows need to be careful hyping Resistance.
Neither look to improve significantly over their last entries and both will suffer score-wise for that. To me, it looks like Sony/MS are rushing the games simply to get the holiday sales.

I thought i was the only one thinking the same thing. Rushing these games when they can actually be worked on till fall of next year would have been a whole lot better.

lets see MS is beating them in software sales and total hardware sales multiplas sell more on the 360 and the ps3 has lost exclusive to the 360 thats getting your A** handed to you by the "newcomer" to the console generation. You can be in denial all you want.

I don't know about that. Nintendo has done a great job in expanding the market. Many of those are either entirely new to gaming, or were older when VG's became popular and fell out of gaming. From my personal experience every person I know who bought a Wii uses it as a party system, or only dig it out when one of the BIG titles comes out. I don't know if many of the customers N has made this generation will be long term VG'ers. MS has done a great job of targeting and selling the hardcore gamers that buy lots of software and have been gamers a long time already, so they have a userbase they KNOW buys games by the armful. Sony seems to have mostly latched on to fans who they already had who only want certain franchises, their new IP's haven't been embraced all that much outside of Uncharted. There is still a large segement of the mainstream that are gamers that the Wii doesn't do enough to fill their needs and who'll be picking between a PS3 and a 360, and with the similarity between them it may just come down to a race to certain pricepoints. If the 360 hits 200-250 a year before the PS3 does, I don't think sony can do anything to avoid a last place finish.
Here is the thing when a console is outselling you month by month worldwide you can not claim your woopin the other console (Playstation) this is directed to Ghost not you Steppy. And now to you steppy if Microsoft drops price guess what Sony has to yes HAS to drop proce as well or will follow shortly meaning it still will be a tight race. So good luck to all parties.
The next big game thats a tough one it wont come out this year i dont think. Lots of people are hyped for FFXIII so maybe that will be it but thats not do till next year. I guess if I had to pick one it would be SPORE.
