The one thing I think allot of people are over looking is that what some say Kinects biggest downfall will be might actually end up being a huge saving grace. Where some wonder about how hardcore games will be played without a controller others realise that we already have controllers. Incorporating the standard xbox 360 controller into a kinect game will not only work for hardcore games but will effectively enhance them. Including the standard controller will allow for more control than ever before. Not only that but if kinect can track us then there is nothing to stop it from tracking the hand holding the controller. Grab your controller in one hand and wave it around using one the triggers as a trigger on a gun. How does that feel? Better still why not have seat on the couch with your control and drive a tank while your Buddy handles the turret by simulating those movements or vice verse. When it comes to controls there probably wont be many limitations. The wiimote and move are both limiting in there degree of control. As far as pricing goes I have a hunch Microsoft is already selling it a bit cheaper than than should and I cant honestly imagine paying less taking into account it is a completely new technology as far as entertainment goes and no it is not the same as the eye toy because it is not an over priced web cam with ancient motion tracking capabilities. It is not a wiimote and it is not move. This is a technology that we can expect to see in many places other than the gaming and entertainment environment. Anyways sorry for that long winded opinion and I could be very wrong but heres hoping right :-)
