SSD's are still in development. If you think they are costly think again, going back in history the prices of HDD's were also not that cheap. But since now they are cheap everyone is having them. SSD's are the future of storage devices. They use less power, generate less heat, are fast, and moreover they have a less failure/defect rate as they don't depend on motors and platters to read and write data. What we have to do as a poor common man is to keep a track of the developments of SSD's and lookout for their price cuts. We should buy them only when the prices are affordable. Until then we have the good old HDD's.
To install or not to install. I am in a dilemma. I better stick with Win XP as the performance bar is higher for it, but I know that one day Vista is going to go ahead.
