PS2 was $100 more expensive than Dreamcast and debuted a year later than Dreamcast.  The launch titles for PS2 were generally laughably bad.  Yet, PS2 sold like hotcakes and buried the Dreamcast in sales.  GameCube came out a year after PS2 with a $100 cheaper price tag, yet GameCube got buried as well as Xbox. 

Fast forward to today.  PS3 comes out with a price tag $200 higher than 360, and it is failing.  The games aren't great, but neither were the initial PS2 games. 

So, PS2 comes out a year after Dreamcast with a $100 higher price tag and sells like mad. 

PS3 comes out a year after Xbox 360 with a $200 higher price tag and sells poorly. 

This leads me to believe that if PS3 debuted at $500, it would destroy the 360 in sales.  But wait...it did.  There were 2 models of PS3 at first.  The $500 version was one of those models. 

So, PS3 did debut $100 higher than 360, and sold poorly.  PS2 debuted $100 higher than Dreamcast and sold incredibly well.  Also, 360 is set to obliterate the original Xbox sales with a $400 price tag.  But Sony couldn't sell a $500 version of their console? What gives??

i dint say it had to be a physical attraction. but there are definitely aspects that attract everyone to their favourites because thats what makes them a favourite. maybe u are attracted to the physical side because u think the guy looks COOL/BUFF/RETARDED. 

also as i said i like FRANK WEST because he's just like an every day guy except he covered a few wars in his time. he manages well enough with his cool /ss chainsaws and he looks good at the same time. and he has also covered wars. plus he's surviving a zombie outbreak, thats everyones ideal FANTASY. u get to kill zombies and possibly people u dont like because theres no authority around to stop u. and u can also meet cute guys who just so happen to have covered wars. its a win/win situation.

PLAYA is also a good 360 candidate from Saints Row. purely because he is the strong, silent type. its attractive in a man. also because u can change his appearance and make him freaky retarded or also super cute

XBOX360 - FRANK WEST (this man iss a LEG-END, he is an average guy who heppens to have covered wars. he wins over the likes of DOM and MARCUS because they were so GENERIC and TYPICAL BUFF MEN. we are not all GAY GAMERS. its time the catered for the straight man. FRANK WEST was exactly that. although he looks hot in his pants or a dress)

PS3 - there is no action hero (PS3 has such rubbish titles its un believable, sony can go and die unless they hurry up and get some decent titles out. start off with a BUFF ACTION HERO it'll draw the crowds)

WII - LINK (although i think mario is a better hero link is more action based. even so, twighlight princess was UTTER RUBBISH. u'd expect it to be better graphics than the gamecube. it was barely better than the N64 version.
