I'm using steam and when i try to join a friend in any game it says "server not responding." When i play css i'll join a game but than i can barely move around. help plz

im just gonna read this off the front of my pc. AMD athlon 64, 3700+ proccesor, 2.2 ghz, 2000 mhz system bus, 1 mb L2 cachen, nVidea GeGorce 6100 gpu with avaible pc express slot, the rest is memory stuff unless u need that to. thnx guys
