The Vox Populi Rebellion

It was 1905 and two citizens of Columbia stood in front of Monument Island, looking at its beauty. One was a tall man with red working cloths and large muscles. The other was a woman who was half the height of the man.  Their names are Daisy Fitzroy and John Detree. They both knew this was going to be there last meeting together Daisy didnt have any words of good bye for him and he didnt have any for her.

These were to leaders of the Vox Populi , two factions working as one. For the Vox this was uncommon. It was usually one group goes one way and the other goes another. Making it hard for the Founders to tell where they might strike next. Sense they were so unorganized. Today though was different, today these two factions had decided to take back Columbia and take down Comstock.

                It was late afternoon and the word and gotten out. Weapons were spread, battle paint was put on.  It was in the middle of the courtyard were Daisy had set up propaganda posters saying,Hears your Voice! and red drapes to show off their work. Vox Populi men traveled across all over Columbia on the skyline. Occupying anything and everything they came across. There message was spread across Columbia all at once.

                A small group of Vox men including john had decided to take down Comstock. They took as many guns and ammo as they could. Then they headed his way. In front of Constocks house was just one man. He was an older man, with a derby cap on top of his head. His face had a large white mustache that went from ear to ear. The first look john got of him was uneasy. He stood there without even a twitch.  Its only took a second; he took a drink of an elixir of some sort. Then he feels to the grown and got back up. His eyes were now glowing; he had done something to himself.  

                John and the other Vox Populi readied their weapons. They were not going to die without a fight. The old man lifted his arm and a flock of crows came flying in. John took the others and rushed the man. He pulled out his hand gun got up close and fired two times. Everyone was now a little scratched up from the crows. 

                Daisy had caught up with the group and she had even brought back up with her. They gathered themselves together and then kicked down the door. Inside guards were waiting for them. They pushed their way through to the top floor. Till they found a lock door, John and Daisy kicked it down and everyone else waited outside. But inside was not Comstock it was something else or someone else. It was a young girl. She had short dark hair, large blue eyes and a blue dress to match. She was huddled in corner holding a book.

                This was not what John was looking for but Daisy thought she knew were Comstock was and they could use her to find him. Daisy grabbed the girl by her arm and stared to drag her out of the room. John quickly took control of the girl and asked her, her name. She said in a quiet voice, My name is Elizabeth.

                Do you know where Mr. Comstock. But Elizabeth just shucks her head no. Daisy didnt believe her or didnt care for what she had to say. She was going to be a captive. As they were about to leave the room a loud noise and bright light came shining through the room. Elizabeth ran back into the room.

                John got a hold of her and asked her what was coming and she said, Songbird. The giant mechanized man bird came smashing through the ceiling. One wing blocked off the door and the other came swinging in killing John in the process. Daisy blocked from John could not save him. The Vox Populi men grabbed her. Not wanting to die too, made a quick excite by leaping out the window to the sky line escaping near death from the Songbird.

                Making their way back to head quarters Daisy had a new goal and it was to capture Elizabeth again. She knew to have Comstock owning her and Songbird guarding her she had to be quite special. Now there would be no stopping her because of Johns death. There rebellion would only get stronger from that point on.
