Sony has a really bleak future ahead of itself

The biggest problem with Sony is that most of their studios have no talent. Sony essentially has maybe...4 studios that are consistently good and 8 mediocre ones

Even Jim Ryan knows this which is why he's resorting to moneyhatting third party timed games like GodFail

Sony needs better studios to keep up with XGS. SSM and ND are great studios but even they can't carry 7 or 8 mediocre studios by themselves.

Did a number crunch, right now the studios currently owned by XGS have a 79.6 Meta average this gen where Sony WWS are batting a 72.9 ...there's no balance and basically 3 studios carrying 8
