Gamespot Fuse: A new feature from Gamespot

Firstly, I express my sincere thanks to gamespot for the new feature that is the Gamespot Fuse. It is a great and interesting feature from Gamespot that gives the Gamespot Profile a new look. I wasn't at first aware of it as I thought it was just a program conducted by Gamespot and such things but later, I found out that it was a cool new feature. Ok, let me explain briefly about Fuse. This feature gives a new funky appearance to your profile and also, it shows not only your gamespot achievements, but also Games for Windows live and Xbox achievements. The Gamespot Fuse is linked with raptr, another game site and Fuse allows what it means, fuses your raptr account with that of gamespot's.

All you need get fuse is to create a raptr account. If you already have one, just click on get the fuse and follow the instructions. After you have signed up for Fuse, you will get the new Fuse features and also a new cool Fuse emblem to show that you are a Fuse member. It is a great feature and you must try it. Other users can see your Xbox, GFW, steam, World of Warcraft and GS achievemnts in your profile. After all the good things, the Beta Fuse has also some demerits. One main thing is that both the GS user and his friends can't view all the emblems manually like in the old GS profile (In old one, you can click view all and see all the emblems of the user and description). You need to go to other pages and then only you can view them. I dont know why they removed the view all button from the old one. Another thing is that it's too 'pagy'. Just like viewing emblems, you want to go to different pages to view other avhievemnts. I liked to see flash options (no need to go to other pages). But thats not a big negative point for the Fuse. The next thing is that the emblems look blurred in the main profile. You can just view the name of the few emblems given in there and not the description. But apart from these few turnbacks, the Gamespot Fuse did bring it to a new level with new looks and mods. Gamespot surely would correct these problems and bring gaming to a whole new level. We can expect new things from Gamespot as Fuse marks the beginning.

Positives:

+includes achievements other than Gamespot.

+new and cool level bar.

+a new emblem to the family!

Negatives:

-need to go to different pages for viewing achievements and stats.

-the user's achievement stats page could have some effects and pictures.

-no view all emblem option (easy access).

-blurred emblems in the profile home page.
