Howdy sexual tyrannosaurus,

I'm having a constant array of problems with certain games. All of them are legally purchased so they should have all the files necessary to work properly on any machine… . However, that's not the case as rFactor, Minecraft Windows 10 Edition and sometimes Dirt Rally, Resident Evil 7 randomly crash during launching. Quick peek in "Event Viewer" showcases an app error of following content:

"Faulting application name: Minecraft.Windows.exe, version: 1.2.13.60, time stamp: 0x5ad6b396

Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 10.0.17134.1, time stamp: 0x701ca188

Exception code: 0xc06d007e

Fault offset: 0x000000000003f218

Faulting process id: 0x6150

Faulting application start time: 0x01d3ea6046748036

Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_1.2.1360.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\Minecraft.Windows.exe

Faulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\System32\KERNELBASE.dll

Report Id: 6deefd2a-6aa3-4716-ad18-809c1100e559

Faulting package full name: Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_1.2.1360.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe

Faulting package-relative application ID: App"

What I've tried:

1. Updating DirectX - Version 12.

2. Updating graphics drivers via GeForce Experience program.

3. Installing .NET Framework and Visual Studio runtimes via AIO installer.

4. Placing certain .dll files in system32 and sysWOW64 folders as well as game folders.

5. Scanning for viruses.

6. Cleaning registry with CCleanup

My specs:

CPU: Intel i7-6700k

GPU: MSI GTX 670 OC

MOBO: MSI h170m pro-vdh d3

RAM: 2x Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3

OS: Legit Windows 10 Professional edition

I'll be very thankful for any help. Thanks in advance!

Congrats :). I have the same Corsair Vengeance RAMs. Nice SLI on those GTX 980. As for dust, I have a big ass air compressor that I occassionally run inside my room. I allow it to build pressure and sort of "dust off" everything in my room. Works great for computers, midi keyboards, samplers, routers, chair and ordinary furniture. Then I simply pass the vacuum in my room to collect all the fallen dust and I call it a day. You don't have to purchase a big compressor like me cause it's an overkill. Buy a one like those and you'll be fine: https://www.bing.com/images/search?view=detailV2&ccid=mJSXoPUn&id=F0B1BFA448B4FCB1ACEDBECFD2F60DCC025906A5&thid=OIP.mJSXoPUniTyt1hb3Fg5WPgHaHa&mediaurl=http%3a%2f%2faircompressorlab.com%2fwp-content%2fuploads%2f2016%2f07%2f81q1MDU3v8L._SL1500_.jpg&exph=1500&expw=1500&q=small+air+compressor&simid=608010755442999355&selectedIndex=9&ajaxhist=0

I would say: Diablo 3, Battlefield 1 and 4, Overwatch, Icewind Dale, The Elder Scrolls V skyrim or online, Fallout classic series, Baldur's Gate series, Warhammer 40 000 Dawn of War series (second or third for example), Grand Theft Auto V (If you haven't played it yet). I've tried to mix new with old to make it more interesting :)

I like the fact that there was always a bigger freedom with PC gaming compared to other platforms. For example - modding communities. The fact that you could sit there and create a new map for people to enjoy, or create a new scenario, script, improve graphics to make it hyper-realistic etc. Besides, there are sorts of games that do not appear on consoles. For example rFactor or Automobilista. The latter is considered by me to be the most realistic race-sim game when it comes to physics and sound design.
