if anyone got that close there must be a major flaw in your strategy. usually melees are gotten when dumb luck decides to make a special visit to ur little controller and u happen to walk up behind one of them.i know whenever anyone tries to bumrush me i usually blow them away and enjoy myself defiling their body

I AGREE. Gears is getting so bad that me and my friends go back to halo 2 for fun. Maybe if the connection wasnt so much of an advantage for the host and bullet lag for everyone else. How about not being able to customize the game much(whoa swap weapons)? Halo 2 was the standard for online play for the Xbox and Gears still goes no where near it with its un-friendly server list.

Gears offers not even half of what any of the Halo games offers for multiplayer!!!

Dude... holy **** dude. come on. i think server lists are the best thing in the world for online games. It actually gives some options and choices to the player. 4 example, i start matchmaking, 5 mins go by, im in a party... 5 more mins go by, theres a gametype i dont like, oh well guess i got to restart. i like halo and im not saying its bad but server lists are a lot faster and better even if not as full. although in haloz defence the amount of options are great although u still cant choose em!! gears kicks ass but if u dont like it or get bored then jus take a breather. i am. then every few weeks i come back and enjoy myself
