Oblivion with Dark Messiah of Might and Magic's combat, Mass Effect's dialogue, and Planescape or Baldur's Gate's story.

Nailed it. They don't make games with stories like BG or PT anymore. For me, when playing an RPG, the story and character options are usually the first thing I care about and combat/strategy second.

Dude, PC is the best way to go, it's only a problem if you don't have money for the latest system. Personally, I refuse to play FPS games on a console.

Dunno, I love it. As someone who goes through computers rather quickly and is always losing game discs, Steam is a true godsend.

Not only are they too easy, but they're much too short. Who wants to play a 4-5 hours game? That's like a movie, I want my games to last at least a week. Sure there's always multiplayer, but still, I don't like the length of console games nowadays. Same with games being too easy. You can always play online, or just turn the difficulty up all the way, but I prefer when it's a challenge right off the bat.
