If it makes any of you feel better an American friend of mine was like 6' something and was always going on about how she'd never consider a guy who was shorter than her, and most of the girls who heard that were pretty offended on guys' behalves and thought how odd it was that she'd say that. To be honest I think a lot of it was as a response to guys from her home maybe saying similar things to her for being too tall, I'm 5'2" and I've felt pretty awkward and gangly when I'm the tallest one in a group of girls!
