@green_scorpion Online passes and DRM are two seperate things. In this case, the online pass is only for multiplayer, which is a tiny addition to a spectacular single player story mode. So if you get the game second-hand, you can just play the game the way it was meant to be played. Don't get me wrong, multiplayer is really good but I honestly wouldn't feel if I bought it second hand and just played the single player portion.
Best game of this generation, period. I was so sick of games that took control off your hands every two minutes, had no exploration or gameplay vairety, lasted only four to six hours. My PS3 broke down last year, had to get a new one, but boy was it worth every penny. Took me a couple of days to complete, was one of the most memorable gaming experiences I ever had, both from gameplay and story standpoints. Now I'm hooked on the multiplayer, I've never bought a season pass in my life, but if the DLC that comes out for this game is as good as the main game itself, this'll be my first.
@Gam3r0uTLaWz You've obviously never played the game. It's incredibly old-scool, with very few scripted events. Most enemies use behavior-based AI and the control is very rarely taken off your hands. Multiplayer is definitely not tacked on, as it features a lot of unique elements that you don't see in console shooters. Get your facts straight before you go mothing off like a total imbecile.
@silversix_ The PS3 can handle these graphics. If you do 3d modelling you know how to spot topology on faces. Those are pretty low poly models. It's the shaders and lighting that goes the extra mile.
I agree with what everyone here has been saying. The dog looks awesome. But that's it. MW3 in no way shape or form pushed the limits of anything. BF3 adopted the first-person-body controls with great success, an exercise that has been available for many years now. In the new CoD game, you're STILL a pair of floating arms! The faces don't look that different from MW3, and add to that the fact that their competitors have long since moved on from cardboard looking faces... I'd be ashamed to say I worked on this tech demo if I was an employee at IW.
