I hope the campaign is as enjoyable as Gears 3! I really liked how much more they added cutscenes and developed the characters in the third one. As far as storytelling goes, each sequel vastly built on the last one. That had better continue...
@DarthLod Relax man, I'm pretty positive this is only an addition. Don't like it? Keep playing Horde and Beast modes. I'm quite sure they aren't cutting anything out, just adding. Why complain about additions?
Still majorly disappointed in the removal of firefight mode.... SIGH.... I guess that gives me an extra reason to still play Reach and ODST from time to time. But still...a VERY lame move on 343's part. :/
The first Rome: Total War has always been the best of the series... I sure hope they do it justice for this sequel!! Even the History Channel show they made out of the first one was freakin' good.
And HOLY SMOKIN' HOT REDHEAD!!! Blondes are for sissies....that redhead is a winner!
@apollo333 LOL, so true. It's just plain idiotic to think that the iPad apps will beat console or PC games. The app games are fun for screwing around when you need to kill time, but when people want to actually game, they do NOT turn to androids and iPads. What a psycho this guy is!!
This article is pointless. The only people who think war is "cool" are the 12 year olds who shouldn't be playing the games anyway. Did you ever think that playing a game like this may, in some way, be honoring the soldiers and what they have endured for us?? I see it more as some way of appreciation, rather than enjoyment at their expense. It's more of a way to connect with soldiers, similar in a way to movies like Black Hawk Down. This author just has a perspective problem. Also, to all on here who are saying, "I'm not American, so this can't bother me." You display the pure stupidity of ignorance. $100 says that your countrymen have fought and died recently as well, no matter what nation you are from (every country has soldiers out somewhere, whether openly or not). So you are actually just shaming yourselves and those who die for you. Basically my point is this: military/war history education is really pathetic worldwide. If people were to understand war better, we wouldn't have so many stupid comments and perspectives regarding it.
