Whoever made this list I understand it but real world performance would ditate otherwise sorry!

Ok,
Actually just correct the 3870's and 3850's are 256 bit that is why they rock. I have an older system and that 3850 (AGP 3870) kicks $@%! As far as the 128-bit interface it is for resolution more then anything else, the card will run all effects and AF but high resolution coupled with AA will kill your frame-rate. Hardcore gamers fight the older 128-bit interface cards.
Ok,
So there are some of us that can not afford to upgrade our dear old computers but still have a love for PC gaming, so we go with the strongest video card that we can put in our old computers. Now windows Vista on single core computers in regards to gaming from my experience on high end and low end hardware has a huge performance drop from 20% to 50% depending.
My question is as such, has anyone seen windows XP performance in windows 7 either through the beta or a site OR do you believe that windows XP will continue to be the power house gaming OS that it is as current?

Ok,
Well thanks for all the responses to my posting. Ok so I know that games for all systems with the exception of the PS3(partially because of the cell and partially because of the blu-ray discs) get pirated like I believe it was bioshock for the xbox 360 had a large batch of pirated copies before release. My point is not to say that the consoles do not suffer to but to say that developers should not discriminate against the PC game market, when given that piracy is just as huge a problem on the console side. I would just like to see the PC game market continue to grow other then MMO's. For example Gears of War for PC ported beautifully to the PC and even showed off at E3 a year or so ago, but Gears of War 2 will not be ported because Epic game studios is afraid of piracy now?
So I guess my point is that its not that consoles dont get piracy or that it is not an issue, it is that the PC game platform should not be discriminated against by developers.
