@gamer20482 The perception of what a casual gamer is skewed. A gamer that plays games that are almost exclusively first person shooters, games that are on an Xbox, Playstation, or PC do not constitute the breadth of "hardcore" games. People nowadays that call themselves "hardcore gamers" would have their asses handed to them if they played Megaman, Super Mario Bros. 2 (Japanese version), or any a number of some old school NES, SNES, Genesis games. Play trough New Super Mario Bros U, then tell me how hardcore you are because you play games that require bullets to kill yours opponent. People like you need to stop being brain washed by Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo. Play the freaking games, stop becoming volunteer salesman for these companies.

Yeah that's a bummer. There has got to be a better way for gamers to share their game collection, but still protect the publisher/developer without totally screwing the consumer over.

If Microsoft knew what they were doing they would have released full details on their plans concerning used games. They are obviously still deciding what their plans are. This is a mess of epic proportions. I'd imagine they get a hold of the message by E3 though.

After the end of this next generation of games, physical copies will most likely be obsolete. With that the used game market will also be obsolete. As with other media, there needs to be put in place a system where people can share video game titles. Microsoft is not the company you want figuring this out.
