Game looks gorgeous: retaining the watercolor look of Bastion, but with a Blade Runner-esque sci-fi noir theme. The pre-sequenced combat system is going to require some intelligent combat encounter and enemy design to prevent the game from becoming too easy, but this will just make the game even more interesting and surprising.
...I'm not very happy at all that Hotline Miami's "puzzle" solution was given in the article text with absolutely no warning whatsoever.
I understand that plot points from both the game and movie would be necessary to write this article, but to just simply give away the solution to something that some players are probably still working on, without the SLIGHTEST warning, shows a major lack of editorial discretion on the part of the author.
At least competitors are going to offer their tablets and hybrids at reasonable prices compared to this crap, but WHY DOES THIS DESERVE AN ARTICLE ON HERE AT ALL?
@Arcantoss An iPad 2's battery lasts for at least twice as long playing games or watching video.
Tablets have larger volume batteries, and the power requirements of a larger and probably more powerful device scale up more slowly than the power storage increase from a larger battery.
I can't wait for these issues to be resolved, so that class balance issues can be addressed.
I know: it's still incredibly early, players are still just learning how their professions work at all, and class balance is among the best among initial MMO releases, but there are still very obvious profession imbalances.
@fredwv I know it might seem stupid that I have this opinion, but I almost am GLAD there isn't a dungeon finder.
It's just so incredibly easy to travel from city to city to city to find people to join your dungeon group. Having to travel around the world to find people actually improves immersion for me.
I missed the dungeon finder tool as well, until I actually formed my first AC story mode group. I didn't miss it at all.
