Call of duty type games are fun to just jump in and kill for alittle. Games like quake are games you take serious playing 1 versus 1 deathmatches and crap. lol 1 vs 1 in call of duty LULz but we dont have any serious hardcore new deathmatch games anymore.

No games are realistic every game that trys to be realistic i can pick out so many flaws. quake/unreal were good because they had special character movement quake had bunnyhoppy/strafe jumping unreal had dodge jumping the games now dont require practice to move around with ur character like quake or unreal did. it's just basic run forward or backwards strafe left and right that requires no practice. you cant bunnyhop in call of duty btw lol I know. Just no sense of realism like the old days. I mean, what kind of milsim doesn't let you jump and shoot, or sprint and shoot, or bunnyhop, or any of those things? Stupid. Not all games should have rocket jumping quake * or impact hammer jumping unreal* but not all games should play the same and they all do now Where's the freaking twitch shooters these days? it's all call of duty clone games that play the same pick up and play horsechit

pick up and play no practice games. casual games like unreal/quake i had to practice to be good at, call of duty or counter strike i just picked up and played

I dont mean the console fps genre is better it's not doing any better ^, it's just it seemed the fps industry on pc used to be alot bigger back in the day.
