Ok i try to wash my wii yesterday because i try to play Zelda wind walker. which i haven't played for at least two years. so i tried to play it and the game didn't work so i tried and investigate then i realised that they was about 2 small scratches so i tried to use the technique of using toothpaste and hot water then i checked no more scratches on it worked, when i started it up it came up with the message ' Disc Could not be read. Turn the Power Off and check the Nintendo GameCube Instruction Booklet for further instructions.' i tried it about 10 time before i tried a few other game most of them didn't work and they were in perfect condistion and i tried 'SSX blur' which i have never played until i tried to see if it worked but it didn't so i thought it might of been the wii, so i unplugged it and i looked at the air holes and it was full of dust. i thought that might of been the problem so i got some spray and a cloth i tried blowing and spraying to get the dust out and when i was done ii cleaned it with a cloth i left the whole thing unplugged so the water could evaporate. I waited about 10-12 hours so about 9am this morning i plugged in my wii console and it wouldn't power up i thought cause i had an extension lead with about 8 plugs in it that it didn't have much power so i tried it with me other plug socket and nothing again i was wondering if was cause i was spraying water in the wii, that cause it was working. If anyone has any thought on how they can help please tell me i really will appreciate it.
