In my talons, I shape clay, crafting lifeforms as I please.

For my throne room, lines of power careen into the skies of earth.
My whims will become lighting bolts that devastate the mounds of humanity.
Out of the chaos, they will run and whimper, praying for me to end their tedious anarchy.

writing like that ends this debate . . . i do enjoy Glados, but Shodan was cold, calculated, and thought herself a goddess. Glados didn't have much revealed motivation or purpose other than the tests.
