metal gear 4 for me, it was the sole reason for buying a ps3 for me

but then along comes heavy rain......damn that is a good game and a very close second place!

after seeing the latest set of trailers with both sets of characters and the heroes modes.....its getting better and better.

plus for co-op it should be pretty tight!

march can`t come quick enough for me!

Maybe because it has an Outstanding engine...and a really cool gameplay...and it runs flawlessly, with excellent graphics...and is the "end" of one of the most important franchises of Gaming History...and maybe because, if you like Anime, that 70% of Cinematics is...SUPERB! :cool:

i set aside the time t play this game properly when i finally got around t playing it, gave myself a week to do it and after 28 hours of playing over 3 days i can safely say that nothing had grabbed me sooo much in gaming since i first played through metal gear 3!

yes there are a hefty wedge of cutscenes but metal gear has always been about telling an intricate and involving story alongside some excellent gameplay, if it failed to deliver on the gameplay it would be screwed, but yet again the gameplay was mesmerising, the sniper fight at shadow moses is amazing, my highlight of the boss fights but they are standout stages in a brilliant series littered with memorable characters and scenes

dont know what i was expecting but i didnt get anything near being what i wanted!

oh and final fantasy x-iii

just pants linear grinding from start to finish, so far removed from every other ff game and as such very very disappointing

ok no easy feat this!

1. resident evil 4

simply because it is the best version of a brilliant game, the controls, especially the aiming system are excellent

2. mariokart wii

without a doubt the best multiplayer game......ever, and the online modes are cracking with pretty much no lag

3. super mario galaxy

a truly beautiful and charming game

4. zack and wiki

another wonderfully enchanting puzzle game

5. house of the dead : overkill

mindless splatter yes, but still very very entertaining!

6. monster hunter tri

the sheer scale of this game is breath taking, especially for what is considered to be a much lower spec system, it looks and feel massive, add in the excellent online modes and this will keep you busy for ages!

Final Fantasy IV: The After Years is the only game I still can´t finish yet.Perhaps until late September. :P
