Due to my lack of discipline, I find myself using software such as games when I shouldn't. I want a software that can restrict my use of certain applications after a certain time limit has been exceeded, much like how web blockers like StayFocusd prevent me from visiting certain sites after visiting them for a certain amount of time. The best I could find was HomeGuard Activity Monitor, but it costs $40. Are there any free ones?

1910s and 1940s were. The 2000s seem like a bad hair day compared to those decades of hell. Though the 2000s would rank as 3rd worst ever in my books.

If you have a computer Earthbound and Mother 2 for the SNES are really great top-down RPGs set in modern times (with some robots thrown in for spice.) These games are amazing, however you may need to find an english translation patch for Earthbound (it was never released in America). If you dont mind using emulators, these will probably be your best bet. Until Alpha Protocol brings the idea of modern RPGs back.

Hope this helps.

Earthbound (Mother 2) was released for the SNES in the US. It's Mother and Mother 3 that was unreleased in the US.
