You've probably been playing good games for too long, and can't stand average and bad games.
Either that or you don't have enough good games to play. Post the names of your games, and we might be able to help.
If you don't have Guitar Hero II, I'd tell you to buy it. Well, if you're a music guy, anyway. Re-playing songs might get you tired of repetition, but playing them just to listen or perfect them can move you forward.
Chromehounds would be a good game too, if you prefer games that revolve around squad tactics, but if you're a fan of the Uuuuber fast Armored Core mechs, the game might seem very boring, as there isn't much sense of speed. The multiplayer is really the only part of the game that anybody'd consider 'fun', as you go against real players or CPU HOUNDS (instead of the puny ACVs of the Story mode, which is, in all ways, a tutorial on how to play.) with your teamates backing you up and vice-versa, providing experienced players with a good challenge, bad players with, eh, hours of HOUND building to improve their building skills and Free playing.
Darn, big wall o' text.
Um, if you're a Harry Potter fan, and have finances that can take a beating for buying several games, the Harry Potter game based on the Fifth book is a good game for exploring, as just looking around Hogwarts provides more entertainment than playing the game itself.
Oh, and buy BLACK and DEAD RISING. BLACK, while being an Xbox game, is backwards compatible, and is very pretty and fun, provided you don't panic when overwhelmed with enemies.
DEAD RISING is fun, because... Well, you can pull a zombie's tummy out!
And assuming you have of the above then.. Well, sucks for you that you aren't entertained.
