First of all, let me tell you; I'm left-handed. Here are some interesting facts straight from Wikipedia:
-Only 8 to 15 % of the adult population is left-handed.
-Left-handedness is more common in males than females.
-In many cultures, the word 'left' or some variation of it means something bad or evil.
-Some tools, such as scissors, knives, and rulers, aren't left-handed-friendly (I hadn't noticed any problems before though)
-Until the latter part of the twentieth Century, Roman Catholic nuns in the US would punish children if they attempted to write with their left hand by snapping their left hand with a ruler (ouch).
-International Left-handed Day: August 13
-In many parts of the world, such as Indonesia, it is imolite to accept gifts or eat with the left hand.
Here's a big one:
Shigeru Miyamoto is left-handed, and so is Link from the Legend of Zelda.
Any of you left-handed? Me, my cousin Jorge, and his mom are :)
