Agreed--there's no reason why the next platform can't become the anchor for the owner's entertainment and web-surfing experiences. If I could reduce my A/V set-up to a cable box and a console, and seamlessly synch information with all of my other gadgets and computers--that would be pretty wild! Not just canned notices letting me know that my friends are online, but receiving in-game alerts regarding IRL events or reminders would be very useful.
By not relying on specific computers or PDAs to stay-up-to-date on important data, we will be able to become more efficient in our daily lives. If a corresponding handheld was released that completely integrates with the console, and consolidated a cell phone, camera, PDA, mp3 player and mobile gaming. . . that would simplify everything.
I'd be psyched for an update on the phantom follow-up to Crimson Skies! I'd be happy with either sequel--I simply think that the 360 needs more vehicle-combat games.
[QUOTE="Dub_c6969"][QUOTE="sevvo73lasvegas"] 360 all the way--if she is trying to curb your gaming now, just imagine what you will have to give up in the future. Just think--if you give up gaming now, she might even get bored anyways and still bail. As far as all the remarks are concerned about curbing your gaming habits? That's horse-puckey. If you are into your 360 more than her, then you're simply not into her. Period. If you were into her, she wouldn't take a backseat to your hobbies. She needs to wake up and recognize that (presumably) you aren't out getting into bar fights, not hooked on drugs, and not slapping her around. If she can't appreciate you for getting those things right, then she can go cruising, and find someone more "exciting". Put up with an ultimatum from someone that's not appreciative? Not in this lifetime. Besides, what does she have that makes her so special?totallyschizommmmmmmmmm maybe she some really good DSL's if you know what i mean, if thats the case this would be kinda hard for me to.
so whats better, DSL on a chick, or DSL on your xbox.....tough decision...
Whichever--it all boils down to peace-of-mind. Cynical? Yes. Unfortunately that describes any kind of marginalized relationship.
