[QUOTE="shadow_702"]Seriously. Just because the Japanese did it doesn't make it better in anyway. :|

I'm not saying it is better just because its Japanese, I just prefer the original Japanese version, its just that people like you automatically think its better in English if its not Japanese. Because you claim every one who prefers the Japanese version are obsessive fans, thats false. Also, actually read my post, I stated I hated how they always try to americanize Japanese material that didn't need it. The only Japanese games I saw stay intacted in the NES era was Chrono Trigger and even then they didn't use the original Japanese front cover from the Famicom version, but atleast they used one that was just as good, unlike the people who ruined the first boxart of Megaman.
Sure you can say the box art doesn't matter, but when I look at the original box art of the Japanese version of the very first Megaman and then look at the English version of the very first Megaman, I'm sorry If I offend but only a fool would think the English version front cover is better for the original Megaman. Like I said, they americanzie Japanese stuff that should be intact to begin with and not changed/altered. Companies learned there lesson for the most part now a days because its less of it, but back then they americanize Japanese stuff that didn't need it and only games like Chrono Trigger had exceptions.
You kind of rub yourself off that way in the way that you post everything is preferred in Japanese in some way or form(Doesn't help that your signature is full of Anime chicks). Also I don't think in everything is better in English just certain things like the Megaman 9 boxart which hold a certain level of nostaglia to me personally. If you can't understand that then maybe you need to reamp the way you look at certain things. Also some Americanization is bad (i.e. New Silent hill) but some is done in order to make it more friendly to American audiences. Your personal bias kind of ruin your arguement.
