Not a big deal? Most people come here to read what are supposed to be unbiased reviews. Some people base their expensive 60 dollar game purchases on these reviews. If a publisher can just spend advertising money to guarentee a good review score then you don't have a real review. What you have is a paid advertisment like a infomercial. Man I wonder what CNET is going to do about this. They basically ruined a multi-million dollar website overnight. After the huge backlash Edios is recieving over this I doubt any publishers are going to want to advertise here. On top of that thousands of people are canceling subscriptions. Whoever this Josh Larsen guy is I bet he is in so much trouble with the board of directors.

The only possible outcome that can save this website would probably be to bring Jeff back (because his credibility shot through the roof by not giving in to corporate pressure) and fire the tool that fired him. Then CNET needs to come clean and tell people how this will never happen again because Jeff is running the entire site from now on.

Unless they do this I hate to say it, but this site is finsihed.

I hope none of you guys are sad enough to keep a subscription with this site after all of this. I couldn't imagine anyone wanting to support a company where the "suits" only care about how much money they can make and care nothing for their credibility or the service they are providing to their cusotmers (who expect honest and unbiased articles).

There are other sites to join to get your gaming news. Please don't keep your subscriptions here because of the editors that are still on board. I can promise you they are all looking for other jobs right now and if keep your subscription for them, it only benifits CNET. They get paid the same amount of money even if you cancle your subscriptions and all of them will be just fine until they can find other jobs and leave this god forsaken place.
